Monitoring List

Presentation

The IDA Monitoring List (ML) facilitates the tracking of changes that occurs in a selection of audiovisual Works and for a selection of fields.

This feature aims to provide CMOs with extended logs (that includes IPI changes) on a selection of Works.

We have choosen to rely on the Daily Logs xsd model. It means that the Monitoring List feature is an enhancement that will also benefit to CMOs, who currently rely on the existing daily log feature to update their IT system.

At last, the Monitoring List, is managed at the CMO level. Every user within a society can access the Monitoring List.

The Team

The Work Group: UPdate IT Systems – Monitoring List team, is composed of representatives of SACD  – Sandrine Sandoval, SIAE – Pina Ciani, SSA – Carlo Capozzi, Suissimage – Martin Hettich and the IDA Team. 

Latest news

 

The team has held 10 working sessions over a period of 9 months, starting in late September 2020.

The Work Group Members has started the 1st testing phase in late May 2021 and we are now in the 4th batch testing period (as of March 2022).

We have discovered at the deployment of the 3rd batch that there were a misunderstanding on the by default meaning. However, and since we are working in a agile manner, we shall correct this before the launch in production.

Monitoring List role profiles

According to your role profile into IDA, you will have different edit possibilities on the Monitoring List feature.

Consulting user

A consulting user can only add and remove Works from the Monitoring List. He cannot change the frequency nor the fields to watch.

Controller role

A controller user can add and remove Works from the Monitoring List.

He also can select the frequency and fields that must be tracked.
